I think it is time to start the Lies. The project has sat dormant since I launched Nascent Draftsman. But it is time. Today I went and sat out in the shade of the La Jolla Commons with my ‘weeds pocketbook. I thought I would draw from life but given it was after 1pm I wasn’t sure there would be any reference about. Quite the contrary. Two beautiful women, a fit young man with strong features and a heavyset girl all came and sat within view one after the other. All aesthetically appealing, all sitting for long enough to be captured. Given the constraints I only had time to scribble down the first two, but the latter of which was a scribble above expectations.

It is time.
