With our belongings sprawled out over the walkways we waited for Greg to photograph his way through our shoebox of a home.

“I left home at 16 with 4 bucks in my pocket and never looked back,” he stated. Originally from Santa Cruz he worked his way up through California. 

“I just hitchhiked north. My first job was in the docks, cutting the heads off salmon. It was a great job, I was just a kid.”
