Welcome to my Log. A journal for sorts. A sketchbook. A mediation of marks that glimpses into how I see, with my eyes and my mind.

What I plan to log here is a visual ethnography. A record of the world through my mind’s eye. A collection of what caught my attention, be it a figure, portrait, scene, idea, thought or thing. 

My hope is that this will inspire in you a desire to go find your own stories, and to be a little more interested in others. To slow yourself and to look until you find beauty. 

Though ultimately, this whitepaper could be summed up in seven words. Words from the great John Singer Sergeant: “I do not judge, I only chronicle”
